Team Fees
Players on U9 Development teams and U11-U19 Alliance League teams may be responsible for paying additional team fees, which are not included in registration costs. These fees help cover a range of team-related expenses, such as:
- Tournament entry and travel costs
- Team Bonding Activities
- Team Apparel (e.g. bunnyhugs, jackets)
- End-of-Season Coach Gifts
Team fundraising may help offset these costs.
Team fees are determined and managed at the team level by the coach and/or team manager. If a family is unable to cover their portion of the team fees, they are encouraged to speak with their team manager about setting up a payment plan. Families may also apply for financial support through Lakewood’s Ways & Means funding assistance program if eligible.

Lakewood Volunteer Bond
Lakewood Soccer is powered by volunteers—from coaching and committees to organizing our tournament. It’s what makes us not just a club, but a soccer community and family.
To help support a great soccer experience for every player, we require a $100 volunteer bond per player, submitted before evaluations. If your volunteer commitment is completed, the bond will be refunded at the end of the season.
This bond will be added to your registration automatically.
How to Fulfill Your Volunteer Hours:
Most families volunteer during our Lakewood Tournament (May 8-10).
We ask each family to volunteer about 2 hours per child registered.
These tournaments are vital fundraisers that help us keep our club running smoothly.
Other small volunteer opportunities may come up during the season, but the tournament is the best chance to complete your hours.
Coaches and Managers are exempt from the volunteer bond and hours due to their significant time commitment. Once you’ve been confirmed in either role, you may request a promo code to waive the bond by emailing registration@lakewoodsoccer.com.
