Financial Assistance
There are several financial assistance opportunities available for players who need support paying for registration and/or team fees. It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made from any external organizations to the club, and to cover any fees not covered by a financial assistance.
Applications for KidSport and JumpStart should be submitted before evaluations. Please bring a copy or printout of your completed applications to evaluations or submit to registration@lakewoodsoccer.com prior to attending.
Kidsport
KidSport is a children’s charity which assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs so that all kids can play.
Players are eligible for up to $500 of funding every calendar year (January - December) in Saskatoon

Jumpstart
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is a registered charity dedicated to removing financial barriers so kids across Canada have the opportunity to get off the sidelines and get into the game.

SYSI Athlete Assistance Fund
For those who meet eligible financial criteria after first maximizing their funding allotment with KidSport and/or Jumpstart. You must register your child with a Zone or the Saskatoon Alliance prior to applying for funding from the Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. Athlete fund. You should apply as soon as possible after your child has been registered, as it can take up to 30 days for applications to be processed. Funding cannot be applied to programs that have already ended.
Lakewood’s Ways & Means
Lakewood realizes that all families may not have the means to fully finance their children's participation in sport. An open club culture means recognizing special cases where assistance may be necessary, deciding on levels of help available and keeping individual family details in confidence. Please note that in order to qualify for Lakewood's Ways & Means funding for registration fees, families must first utilize KidSport and JumpStart program options, as well as the SYSI Athlete Assistance Fund.
