Financial Assistance

There are several financial assistance opportunities available for families who need assistance paying for registration and/or team fees. It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made from any external organizations to the club, and to cover any fees not covered by a financial assistance.

Applications should be submitted before evaluations. Please bring a copy or printout of your completed applications to evaluations.

Kidsport

KidSport is a children’s charity which assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs so that all kids can play.

Players are eligible for up to $500 of funding every calendar year (January - December) in Saskatoon

Jumpstart

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is a registered charity dedicated to removing financial barriers so kids across Canada have the opportunity to get off the sidelines and get into the game.

Lakewoood’s Ways & Means

Lakewood realizes that all families may not have the means to fully finance their children’s participation in sport. An open club culture means recognizing special cases where assistance may be necessary, deciding on levels of help available, and keeping individual family details in confidence. Please note that in order to apply for Lakewood Ways & Means funding for registration fees, families should first utilize the above two programs.
