This season's tournament will run from February 3 - February 5 2023 and is the best time for you to get your volunteer hours in!
Our volunteers are one of our biggest assets as an Association. You help to share the work load, and consistently ensure Lakewood hosts one of the most successful tournaments in the province!
Volunteers hours are a mandatory part of the season and are required for all players from U7 up to U19. If you would like to review the Volunteer Requirements please take a look at the website. Hours must be completed throughout the course of the season in order to get your $100 Volunteer Bond returned.
Whether your team is in the tournament or not has nothing to do with your required volunteer commitment for the season, but it is the BEST TIME TO GET YOUR HOURS DONE.
The online SignUp can be found here and will be LOCKED on Monday January 30th to allow us to find people to fill remaining shifts. This means you will no longer have access to choose your volunteer shift. Please sign up before this deadline!
All shifts that have not been claimed by midnight on Monday will be offered as paid shifts at $50/shift. If you have outstanding fees owing, any paid shifts will be put towards your balance.
If you are coaching/assistant coaching/managing a team you MUST be registered in RAMP and have met the minimum requirements. Your volunteer hours are considered done if you are helping out with a team in this way. Please reach out if you are coaching/assistant coaching/managing and are not yet registered. Please review the Volunteer Job Descriptions, keeping in mind some positions can only be filled by players of a certain age, or adults.
