This is the biggest issue to date, with team news from all over our club! Also inside you will find information about the Lakewood Summer Programs, indoor soccer registration dates, photos from the Just Kick It Cup and a cool story about one of our members watching Manchester City win the Premier League Title last weekend.
But the big news for many of us is Lakewood’s 30th Anniversary Day in the Park on Saturday!! We hope you can all stop by between 1:30 and 3:00pm for some soccer fun, delicious treats and to socialize. Earlier in the day, Lakewood soccer is having a drop in session for families new to soccer and the zone. There will be music, games, face painting and more all day long!! Please share this with anyone you may know that have kids who may be interested in soccer! All of the details are inside the Heartbeat or on the Lakewood website.
Lakewood Anniversary Day, Saturday May 25:
10:30-Noon: Drop in for anyone in the community interested in soccer
Noon-1:30: Treats, snacks, drinks and more for the community
1:30-3:00: Lakewood drop in soccer with drinks, snacks, candy and social
We would also like to extend an invitation to any families who still need to get their volunteer hours in for the season. We have limited spots, so please head over to the "Fun Day in the Park" SignUp link sent out in TeamLinkt yesterday to secure your spot!
In addition to serving drinks and snacks we are looking for a handful of U13-U17 players who would be interested in getting PAID to come do some face painting! That's right, we want YOU! You must SignUp for a shift (link also sent out yesterday in TeamLinkt) and shifts will be paid out as $15/hour. You can bring some supplies if you'd like, but we will be providing all the necessities!
