July Camps

Rising Stars Girls Camp (U9, U11, U13)

Who: Camp specifically tailored for Girls Divisions U9-U13 (Indoor 2024-25 age divisions U9's include 2016-2017, U11's include 2014-2015, U13's include 2012-2013) hosted by Huskie Soccer Alumni, Coach Erica Hindmarsh

What: Designed to sharpen technical skills including dribbling, passing and shooting, we will be accepting a maximum of 12 participants per age division to provide intensive coaching. All skill levels welcome!

When: This exciting opportunity will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings and offers 8 sessions over four weeks on the following dates: 
July 15, July 17, July 22, July 24, July 29, July 31, August 5, August 7

U9 5:30-6:30PM
U11 6:30-7:30PM
U13 7:30-8:30PM

Where: All sessions will take place outdoors on the Lakewood Soccer Home Fields at Sidney L. Buckwold Park 

Kickin' It Boys Camp (U9-U11)

Who: Kickin' It Camps are uniquely developed for U9 and U11 boys (Indoor 2024-25 age divisions include those born in 2014-2017) and hosted by qualified Lakewood Soccer Coaches

What: Camp will be packed with action, skill-building, and fun for all levels of skill and development

When: Participants can join us Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30-6PM on July 16, July 18, July 23, July 25, July 30 and Aug 1

Where: All sessions will take place outdoors on the Lakewood Soccer Home Fields at Sidney L. Buckwold Park

Future Legends Boys Camp (U13 and older)

Who: Future Legends Camps are uniquely developed for players in U13 and older (Indoor 2024-25 age divisions include those born in or before 2013) and hosted by qualified Lakewood Soccer Coaches

What: Camp will be packed with action, skill-building, and fun for all levels of skill and development

When: Participants can join us Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30PM on July 16, July 18, July 23, July 25, July 30 and Aug 1

Where: All sessions will take place outdoors on the Lakewood Soccer Home Fields at Sidney L. Buckwold Park

Keeper Camp (U9 and older)

At this dynamic camp, keepers will learn the essential skills needed to excel in the net, including mastering shot-stopping techniques to make those game-winning saves, developing quick reflexes to handle high-pressure situations, and honing their distribution skills to effectively start counter-attacks. With expert coaching under Lakewood Goalkeeper Coach Victor Urrutia and a fun, supportive environment, Lakewood's Keeper Camp is the perfect place for aspiring goalkeepers.

Open to players from anywhere in Saskatchewan!

U9 and U11 players will train from 5-6 PM
U13 and older players will train from 6-7 PM

All sessions will be held on Lakewood's Home Field at Sidney L. Buckwold Park, and will take place on the following Monday and Wednesday evenings: July 15, July 17, July 22, July 24, July 39, July 31 *new dates added, August 5 & 7!

August Camps

FUN Soccer Camp (U7-U17)

Every day at camp, participants will engage in a variety of mini games designed to be both fun and competitive. These small-sided games not only keep the excitement high but also help players improve their skills in a dynamic and engaging way. From 3v3 matches to "World Cup" and "Jail" contests, there’s something for everyone!

Our coaching philosophy centres around learning through play. We believe that the best way to develop soccer skills is through enjoyable and interactive activities. Drills are cleverly disguised as games, ensuring that every child is learning while having a blast.

  • Dates: August 12, 13, 14

  • U7 and U9 Players (Indoor 2024-25 Season Divisions for players born 2016-2019):

    • Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM each day
    • Place: Sidney L. Buckwold Park Soccer Fields

  • U11 and Older Players (Indoor 2024-25 Season Divisions for players born 2008-2015):

    • Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM each day
    • Place: Sidney L. Buckwold Park Soccer Fields

Pre-Season Prep Camp (U7-U9)

Lakewood's Pre-Season Prep Camp will be focused on technical skill development. This camp is designed to lay a solid foundation of soccer skills for young players ahead of the indoor season. Each session focuses on fundamental techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. Through engaging drills and activities, players will improve their technical abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.

  • Dates: August 19, 20, 21, 22

  • U7 and U9 Players (Indoor 2024-25 age Divisions for players born 2016-2019):

    • Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM each day
    • Place: Sidney L. Buckwold Park Soccer Fields

Evaluation Prep Camp (U11-U17)

Lakewood Soccer's Evaluation Prep Camp will be focused on technical skill development, emphasizing fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. Our qualified coaches provide personalized instruction to refine technique and improve consistency.

  • Dates: August 19, 20, 21, 22

  • U11 and Older Players (Indoor 2024-25 age Divisions for players born 2008-2015):

    • Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM each day

Field Location and Layout:

    • The Sid Buckwold Fields (Sidney L. Buckwold Park) is off of McKercher Drive, and in between Degeer St and Boychuk Dr.
    • Entrance and Drop off are in the south alleyway and accessible from Degeer St (by Roland Michener School)
