It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share difficult news about one of our long-time Lakewood families.
Tyson Lemire recently suffered a severe heart attack that resulted in a hypoxic brain injury, and he will not recover.
Tyson, his wife, and their four daughters have been part of the Lakewood Soccer community for nearly 15 years. Over that time, they have become a valued and familiar part of our club, contributing to the spirit and connection that make Lakewood more than just a place to play soccer.
During this unimaginable time, we want to come together as a community to support them with the care, compassion, and HEART that define who we are.
A fundraiser has been created by extended family members to help ease the financial burdens in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Our hope is to help provide some stability and relief so the family can focus on being together and supporting one another.
If you are able, we encourage you to support in any way you can:
Every gesture—big or small—will make a meaningful difference.
