Lakewood 30th Anniversary event: Sat May 25

Stop by Saturday from 1:30 to 3:00 for a Lakewood soccer celebration!

To honour this special occasion, we are excited to host a “30th Anniversary Fun Day in the Park,” and we invite everyone to join us! Whether you’re a current member or a former player, we want to see you on May 25 at Sid Buckwold Park from 1:30 to 3:00pm for a Lakewood Drop In Soccer session!

All families are encouraged to stay after training or come by and enjoy tasty snacks, candy and refreshing drinks with their fellow teammates and Lakewood members. Bring a picnic blanket or some lawn chairs and hang out for a while for some bonding.

This celebration is not only for current members but also to former players and families who have been part of the Lakewood community over the years. It’s a perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about your time with the club, and create new memories.

Lakewood is also using this day to welcome new families to Saskatoon and the Lakewood zone who will have a drop in session earlier in the day.

For the past 30 years, Lakewood Soccer has been a pillar of community sports, offering players of all ages the chance to enjoy soccer while building lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories. As we mark 30 years of dedication to sport and community, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of the Lakewood family.
