Daniel Alvarado Resigns

While it is never easy to lose a member of the Lakewood Soccer team, we want to inform you of Daniel Alvarado’s resignation.

Lakewood Soccer prides itself on the diversity of its athletes, families, coaches and Board and the support we extend to our soccer family. When Daniel came to Canada, looking for an opportunity, Lakewood Soccer supported him by providing both a coaching role and supporting his journey to permanent residency in Canada. We accessed professional resources on his behalf and we were excited when he achieved his goal earlier this year.

As disappointing as it is to see him move on, we do wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

In the meantime, it is important to know that the players he was coaching will have the full support of the Lakewood Soccer technical staff and Board to ensure they have a great outdoor season and beyond. Providing a great soccer experience for all participants remains our number one priority.
